Respite and short breaks

Every stay, booked around the child and the family.

Overnight short breaks, day services and holidays for children and adults with complex needs. Every stay is booked against the beds you have and the staff you can put on, so a date promised to a family is a date that holds. The pre-visit questionnaire, the care plan and the check-in list are ready before they arrive, and the same record follows the person from one stay to the next.

The week you actually have

A week in your service does not fit a generic system.

Three things short-break services do that most care software was never shaped around.

1The right bed, every time

Every bed has a type, and a stay is only booked when the bed a person needs is available throughout the stay.

Nobody arrives to be sent home.

2Ready before they arrive

A pre-visit questionnaire a week before, the plan signed by the family from home, and a check-in list with photographs of what they brought with them.

Everything they came with goes home with them.

3Staffed for who is in

The plan sets the skills a stay needs, and the roster checks they are on for those nights.

The right people, for the people in the building.

When a family cancels, the next family waiting is one click away.

Sixteen parts of one system.

Each one is a page. Start wherever your service feels the pressure — every part writes to the same record.

Questions services ask before they switch

Can the system use our own language and categories?
Yes. You manage your own picklists and naming conventions, so screens, sections and lists read the way your service talks. Referral classifications can be replaced with a list of your own, and those changes are made free of charge through our support desk, usually within an hour or two.
We are switching from another system. What moves across?
People, family members, referrals, notes, professionals and organisations all have import templates. Referrals come across with their history, so your reporting survives the move. Migration is scoped with you once we have seen your data, so you know what is coming across before anything is agreed.
How long does implementation take?
We work to your timeline: typically twelve to sixteen weeks, depending on your availability, how much you launch at once and how much data you migrate. Phasing is the quickest route, going live with the parts you need first. Workshops run throughout, so your team can configure and change things themselves afterwards.
How do you charge?
One all-inclusive subscription, banded by your income. Every module and every user is included, along with hosting and support, so the price holds as you add people or take on more of the system. Implementation and training are scoped with you at the start.

See it working with your own service in mind.

Half an hour or an hour, whichever suits. We’ll spend it on the parts that matter to your service.
