Who we are

Ameryst is a trading name of Chase Hospice Trading Ltd, the company that runs this website and decides how the personal information collected through it is used (the “data controller”).

What this policy covers

This policy covers ameryst.com, including the customer area at ameryst.com/customers. It does not cover the Ameryst care management software itself: information held in the software is processed on behalf of our customers under their contracts with us.

Following up and keeping in touch

If you book a demo, we will contact you by email or phone about it, including following up afterwards. We do this because you asked us to, or because it is in our legitimate interests to respond to your enquiry.

We may also send you occasional updates, such as new articles on our blog or news about Ameryst. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time by contacting us. Where the law requires your consent for these emails, we will ask for it first.

Cookies and analytics

We use analytics and marketing cookies only if you agree to them in our cookie banner. They help us understand how the site is used and, if you later book a demo or contact us, let us see which pages you visited. You can change your choice at any time. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We use trusted suppliers in the categories below to run the website. They can only use your information to provide their service to us, under written contracts that require them to keep it secure:

Where it is stored

Our website is hosted in Europe. We choose suppliers that store data in the UK or EU where possible. Some are based in the United States. Where information leaves the UK, we rely on the UK’s adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement to keep it protected.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or for as long as the law requires. For example, we keep enquiry and demo details while we are in contact with you about Ameryst, and customer area accounts while your organisation is a customer. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Security

The website runs over an encrypted connection. Customer area passwords are stored in hashed form, repeated failed sign-ins are blocked, and customer documents can only be reached after signing in.
